ABOUT THE ROLE

> 5 to 6 sessions/week, or 1 week on 1 week off, or 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, or 1 month on and one month off
> No extended hours
> Very small Practice with a small number of patients. Ideal for continuity of care

> Training Practice
> Dispensing Practice
> Clinical Support Staff: Practice Nurse, Nurse Practitioners, HCA, Social Prescribers, GP Care Advisors, First Contact MSK Physiotherapist, Clinical Pharmacist, dispensing team
> Good
> Perfect QOF score !
> Outstanding Patient Satisfaction: within the Top 3% of the practices nationally!
> Onsite parking

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

> Delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population
> Participate in practice audits as requested by the audit lead
> Secondary Responsibilities
> Management and advice relating to infection control and clinically based patient care protocols, and implementation of those protocols across the practice
> Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process
> Effectively manage own time, workload and resources.
> Encourage collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, promoting a culture of continuous improvement at all times
> Making appropriate referrals to specialists when necessary.
> Attending training and events organised by the practice or other agencies, where appropriate.
> Undertaking periodic infection control training (minimum twice annually)

REQUIREMENTS

> Newly qualified as well as experienced GPs
> Relaxed, positive and friendly manner
> An understanding, acceptance and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality and equality and diversity
> GMC registered General Medical Practitioner
> Evidence of a commitment to on-going personal & professional development
> Qualified GP
> Problem solving and change management skills
> Ability to take responsibility for your own career development, learning and performance and are responsible for ensuring that all your mandatory training is in date
> Complete specialist training in general medical practice
> Outstanding level of clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with that of an experienced GP
