COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

> £10,500/£11,000 to £13,000 for highly experienced GP
> One of the few practices in the area that have adopted the BMA guidance for safeworking in General Practice! This includes:
– 25 patient contacts per day limit
– 15-minute appointments available (on top of 10 mins ones), the GP decides the length
– Max 3 hours of patient consultation per session
– Adequate rest breaks
– No duty Doctor system (the partners manage most of the urgent care).
– All worked hours are paid
– No extended hours
– BMA Contract Model
> 6 weeks, + 8 sessions study leave
> NHS Pension

ABOUT THE ROLE

> Between 4 and 6 sessions/week
> No duty GP! The partners deal with most of the emergencies of the day.
> Daily team meetings with the GP Partners

ABOUT THE PRACTICE

> Good CQC rating
> High QOF score (between 95% and 100%)
> Modern state of the art purpose built building
> Free onsite Parking

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

> Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
> Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies/guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety, CQC
> Awareness of national standards of infection control and cleanliness and regulatory / contractual / professional requirements, and good practice guidelines
> Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation
> Participate in audit where appropriate.
> Foster positive patient-doctor relationships through effective communication and empathy.
> Encourage collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, promoting a culture of continuous improvement at all times
> Documenting patient consultations, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans.
> Liaise with other healthcare professionals (e.g., midwives, pharmacists, health visitors and psychiatrists) as part of multidisciplinary teams
> Providing counselling and health education

REQUIREMENTS

> Newly qualified as well as experienced GPs
> Flexibility
> Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability
> Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT)
> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills written, verbal & particularly listening
> Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
> Ability to work autonomously
> You must be registered on the relevant UK’s performance list
> Registration on the Primary Medical Service Performers List
> Ability to work as a team member and autonomously
