ABOUT THE ROLE

> Between 4 and 9 sessions/week
> The practice is actively planning to become a training practice, so this could be a plus for a trainer or someone having a special interest in training

ABOUT THE PRACTICE

> Clinical Support Staff: Clinical Pharmacists, Acute Care Nurse practitioner, Practice Nurses, HCAs, Phlebotomists,Care Coordinators. Proactive and embedded ARRS workforce: First Contact Practitioners, Health and Wellbeing Coaches
> Good CQC rating
> High QOF score (between 90% and 95%)
> State of the art purpose-built Health Centre
> Onsite Parking

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

> Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols
> Contribute effective to the development and maintenance of the practice including; clinical governance, training, financial management and HR
> Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
> Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation
> Discuss with other members of the team how the policies, standards and guidelines will affect own work
> Support the partners in achieveing the strategic aims of the practice, making recommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditure
> Maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
> Safe management of sharps use, storage and disposal
> Active observation of current working practices across the practice in relation to infection control, cleanliness and related activities, ensuring that procedures are followed and weaknesses/training needs are identified, escalating issues as appropriate to the responsible person
> Carry out clinical examinations

REQUIREMENTS

> Newly qualified as well as experienced GPs
> GP Performers list
> Working within primary care
> Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety.
> Excellent record keeping
> Experience of working in a primary care as a qualified GP or during Training Specialty
> Calm under pressure
> Ability to take responsibility for your own career development, learning and performance and are responsible for ensuring that all your mandatory training is in date
> You must be registered with the GMC
> Vocational training certificate or equivalent
