COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

> Between £11,000 £12,000/session

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

> Communicate effectively with patients and carers
> Commit to self-learning and instil an ethos of continuing professional development across the practice team
> Monitor patients’ conditions and wellbeing
> Contributing to evaluation/audit and clinical standard setting within the organisation
> Conducting consultations with patients to assess and diagnose their medical conditions
> Providing preventive healthcare advice and vaccinations.
> Perform clinical examinations of patients to assess, diagnose and monitor conditions
> Documenting patient consultations, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans.
> Ensure compliance with the appraisal process
> Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals.

REQUIREMENTS

> Newly qualified as well as experienced GPs
> Flexibility
> Effective time management (Planning & Organising)
> Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety.
> Experience with clinical risk management
> Inclusion on Performers List
> Understanding of Primary Care and the Healthcare system
> Good understanding and experience of chronic disease management, and primary prevention and screening services
> Ideally Member of The Royal College of General Practitioners
> Suggest improvements for change in a positive and inclusive manner
