ABOUT THE ROLE

> Between 4 and 9 sessions/week
> The practice is actively planning to become a training practice, so this could be a plus for a trainer or someone having a special interest in training

ABOUT THE PRACTICE

> Clinical Support Staff: Clinical Pharmacists, Acute Care Nurse practitioner, Practice Nurses, HCAs, Phlebotomists,Care Coordinators. Proactive and embedded ARRS workforce: First Contact Practitioners, Health and Wellbeing Coaches
> Good CQC rating
> High QOF score (between 90% and 95%)
> State of the art purpose-built Health Centre
> Onsite Parking

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

> Providing leadership within the practice and contributing to team development.
> Apply practice policies, standards and guidance
> Contributing to the summarising of patient records and read-coding patient data
> Providing advice on the correct and safe management of the specimens process, including collection, labelling, handling, use of correct and clean containers, storage and transport arrangements
> Contributing to read-coding patient data
> Monitoring practice facilities and equipment in relation to infection control, ensuring that proper use is made of hand-cleansing facilities, wipes etc., and that these are sufficient to ensure a good clinical working environment. Lack of facilities to be escalated as appropriate to the responsible manager
> Correct waste and instrument management, including handling, segregation, and container use
> Conduct thorough medical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
> Liaise with other healthcare professionals (e.g., midwives, pharmacists, health visitors and psychiatrists) as part of multidisciplinary teams
> Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.

REQUIREMENTS

> Newly qualified as well as experienced GPs
> Registered on the National Performers List
> An understanding, acceptance and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality and equality and diversity
> Experience with audit and able to lead audit programmes
> Experience with clinical risk management
> Medical degree
> UK driving licence
> You must be registered on the relevant UK’s performance list
> Ability to work under pressure
> Ability to follow clinical policy and procedure
