ABOUT THE ROLE

> 5 to 6 sessions/week, or 1 week on 1 week off, or 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, or 1 month on and one month off
> No extended hours
> Very small Practice with a small number of patients. Ideal for continuity of care

> Clinical Support Staff: Practice Nurse, Nurse Practitioners, HCA, Social Prescribers, GP Care Advisors, First Contact MSK Physiotherapist, Clinical Pharmacist, dispensing team

> Outstanding Patient Satisfaction: within the Top 3% of the practices nationally!
> Onsite parking

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

> Adhering to ethical guidelines and legal requirements in medical practice.
> Review and adhere to practice protocols and policies at all times
> Educating patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes.
> Management and advice relating to infection control and clinically based patient care protocols, and implementation of those protocols across the practice
> Recognise peoples needs for alternative methods of communication and respond accordingly.
> Effectively manage own time, workload and resources.
> Correct waste and instrument management, including handling, segregation, and container use
> Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks
> Liaise with other healthcare professionals (e.g., midwives, pharmacists, health visitors and psychiatrists) as part of multidisciplinary teams
> Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.

REQUIREMENTS

> Newly qualified as well as experienced GPs
> Using electronic medical records
> Annual appraisal and revalidation, and maintain
> Excellent interpersonal skills
> Certification of Completion of Training
> To hold a degree in medicine that is recognised by the General Medical Council (GMC)
> Ability to motivate patients to improve their health
> You must be registered on the relevant UK’s performance list
> Good clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis and management of acute Primary care presentations
> Outstanding level of clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with that of an experienced GP
